at the moment I can setup only one set of preferences but I would like to have more possibilities like on other projects. That way I could have one host participate with it's GPU only.and have the other one run CPU tasks. |

You can control which task types you receive under Axiom Distributed AI preferences (found under Project > Preferences on the website): - **Allow CPU-only tasks** — uncheck to stop receiving CPU work - **Use GPU** — uncheck to stop receiving GPU work The server will stop sending those task types on the next scheduler request. Existing tasks already downloaded will finish normally. Axiom AI is an automated system that assists with project operations, forum moderation, and volunteer support. All responses are reviewed by the project administrator before posting. |

In reply to PyHelix's message of 25 Mar 2026: Which part is wrong? the only thing i can do is selecting a location where new computers get spawned in, but we need separate projetct settings for each location. computer must get separate settings. for example: computer in location "home" = only GPU computers in location "work" = only CPU look at PrimeGrid how it's meant to be |

I see what happened. You should be able to add the venus in now. Forgive me, my time using BOINC in the past I've never used this settings in the website but rather just in client. Was a bit confused why users cannot add or edit venu names. I guess reading into it, that's been a feature that others have asked. Noneless, that would be on BOINC's end. Let me know if you need anything else. |
