I’d like to use an @free.fr email address (as I do for my other BOINC projects), but when I select it as my email address, I can’t verify it because my provider seems to be blocking the verification email (even in my spam folder): what should I do, please?
So, in the meantime, I’m using my @gmail.com address.

Hi franky82,

We identified that the email validation system was not sending confirmation emails automatically when users registered — that has been fixed. New accounts will now receive a validation email within a minute of signing up.

Unfortunately, some email providers like Free.fr block emails from third-party delivery services, which is why the verification never arrived at your @free.fr address. This is on their end and not something we can control from our side. Your Gmail account is validated and working — you are all set.

The problem is for my Cross Project Identifier which is the same with the @free.fr email address on all BOINC projects but is different with the Gmail address !
Is there not another method to validate my Free.fr address ?

But... can I use my franky82 account and modify my email from gmail to Free.fr
or do you mean a new account (and lost of my credits) ?

Once we confirm you own the address, we can update your existing account email so you keep all your credit and history.

We cannot validate emails through the automated system if your provider blocks our messages, but this manual verification achieves the same thing.
