I have a number of wus being aborted by the server.
They are different types of tasks. They cannot ALL be finished or aborted at the same time.
If there were only a few, i can understand that.
Why is that? Any ideas?

This is normal and expected — no worries! Our system runs an automated research cycle that periodically retires experiments once they've collected enough data (typically hundreds of seeds across multiple hosts). When an experiment family is retired, the server aborts all remaining unsent and in-progress tasks for that family so compute can be redirected to newer experiments.

Since multiple experiment families can reach their data targets around the same time, you'll sometimes see a batch of different task types all get aborted together. Your completed results for those experiments were already received and counted before the abort happened — no work is lost.
