Ok after running for a while and validating my email address the Project Home page had a graph appear on the Left side and under it was a Welcome pane which had my name. Inside. The welcome pane "in poor contrast" has a message "Download now" and an arrow.

A ZIP'ed Client file downloads to your System. Once the file is unzipped and executed more files are loaded into the Axiom Data file that was created inside your Username/files

All of this could have been documented somewhere so that volunteers didn't have to Hunt and Peck.

Respectfully Bill F

Are you sure about that? Because what I see is a link to a Streaming Client and when I download that Zip file it contains instructions in a Readme file that looks to me to install a separate Application that works outside Boinc.

I do not like this and will wait for a clear explanation from the Admin before I take action.

I have taken a closer look at what this zip contians.
I may install data files in the Data directory but what it is going to do goes mostly outside the Boinc programming. It has its own settings and ignores the Boinc settings. That is not how a Boinc project should operate.

I am dropping this project.

For the moment, until the axiom administrator provides explanations on how exactly his project works, I am suspending my participation.

I can barely see the colors used in that box!! Standard webpage stuff needs to be standard colors not red or green due to some 70% of me being red/green color blind, LIKE ME!!
