AXIOM BOINC SESSION RESULTS Session date: March 4, 2026 Scope: Validation, credit, cleanup, deployment, experiment design PART 1: RESULTS REVIEWED AND CREDIT AWARDED - Reviewed latest uncredited uploads and manually verified file-backed scientific payloads across CPU delay-control, CPU WD-interaction, and GPU stress experiment families. - Wrapper/schema mismatch identified in two CPU scripts and fixed: - metapop_corridor_delay_forecast.py now writes raw JSON result objects. - rps_delay_jitter_adaptive_mobility.py now writes raw JSON result objects. - Incremental credit granted this session: 7 results credited, total +192 credit. - Credit tiering applied as configured (long CPU runs at full tier; short GPU stress run at lower tier). - Website counters updated: credited_count advanced to 54438; total_results_count synchronized to 55009. PART 1: STUCK/BROKEN TASK CLEANUP - Dead-host cleanup pass (>12h sent and >6h no host contact): no rows required cleanup. - Hard-ceiling cleanup pass (>48h running): no rows required cleanup. - No experiment-wide aborts were required. PART 2: NEW EXPERIMENTS DESIGNED AND DEPLOYED - Retirement guardrails were rechecked before deployment; over-seeded completed families remained retired. - CPU queue top-up deployed: 5,793 workunits across active RAM>=6GB hosts. - GPU queue top-up deployed: 322 workunits; GPU capacity check confirmed 81 hosts with idle slots. - Transitioner refresh and one-pass transitioner were run after deployment waves. NEW EXPERIMENT + NOVELTY CHECK DOCUMENTATION 1. toggle_delay_adaptive_control.py (CPU, systems biology/control) - Novelty search queries executed around adaptive feedback control, delayed measurement, and noise-driven switching in genetic toggle systems. - Prior art confirms real-time control studies and delayed/noisy toggle dynamics independently. - No direct prior factorial adaptive-vs-fixed sweep jointly mapping observation delay and sensor noise with explicit overcorrection metrics was found. - New hypothesis tested: adaptive control improves stability at short delay but can overcorrect and increase switching under long-delay/high-noise sensing. - Initial dedicated seeding deployed: 36 targeted CPU workunits. KEY SCIENTIFIC FINDINGS 1. In sampled metapop_corridor_delay_forecast outputs, adaptive-minus-fixed persistence deltas were negative across inspected delay/noise conditions, indicating fixed strategy currently outperforms adaptive in this regime. 2. In sampled rps_delay_jitter_adaptive_mobility outputs, adaptive benefit at jitter=0.10 was near zero in current low-trial snapshots. 3. No new 30+ seed cross-validated result met promotion threshold in this session; previously confirmed findings remain unchanged. 4. This deployment pass prioritized queue refill and infrastructure continuity while opening a new non-ML systems-biology line (toggle_delay_adaptive_control) for next-session validation. SESSION OUTCOME - Validation/credit actions completed. - Cleanup checks completed. - CPU/GPU deployment completed. - Findings summary updated and preserved for continuity.
